Although Robin Hood tells Little John that they aren't invited, Friar Tuck tells the former that there's someone who'll be disappointed if he doesn't come: not "Ol' Bushel Britches", as Little John guesses, but rather, Maid Marian, whom Friar Tuck says is going to give a kiss to the winner. Robin Hood(Errol Flynn) negotiates with Friar Tuck(Eugene Pallette) to join the Men of Sherwood, the two have a duel in the lake, after which Robin promises Friar Tuck is one of Monsieur Hood's Merrymen. He plays the accordion to the tune of their song. Tuck is later seen at the end of the film, dancing the macarena with the Merrymen and Cinderella. Though his church is in Nottingham, the friar becomes a close ally of the outlaw and begins to pay frequent visits to Sherwood. Friar Tuck is one of Robin Hood's merry men. As Robin was a devout Catholic having a clergyman in the forest where he and his men were living was very handy.

But then he forced Robin to carry him back across the water. Now, Robin climbed onto the friar's back again.
